We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your personal data secure, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679), Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326, Argentina’s Law No. 26,032 on Internet services, and the OECD Privacy Guidelines for Transborder Data Flows.

The database used by Alfabetiz.ar is registered with Argentina’s Access to Public Information Agency (AAIP), in accordance with Law No. 25,326 and related regulations. 13. Jurisdiction-Specific Addendum
California (CCPA/CPRA)
To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act applies, California residents have additional rights: (i) know/access, (ii) delete, (iii) correct, (iv) data portability, (v) opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, (vi) limit the use/disclosure of sensitive personal information, and (vii) non-discrimination.

At present, alfabetiz.ar does not sell or share users’ personal information within the meaning of CCPA/CPRA, nor use sensitive personal information for incompatible purposes. To exercise CCPA/CPRA rights, contact desarrollo@alfabetiz.ar. We will verify your identity. You may designate an authorized agent pursuant to CCPA/CPRA.

United Kingdom (UK GDPR)
Where applicable, processing of UK users’ data complies with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, with rights materially equivalent to the EU GDPR.

Brazil (LGPD)
Where applicable, processing of data subjects in Brazil complies with the LGPD, including rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection.

Children (COPPA – U.S.)
This service is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided personal data without authorization, contact us for deletion.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction for Privacy
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico (USA), with The Metadata Company LLC as the owner of the “alfabetiz.ar” service. However, when users are located in Argentina, the processing of their personal data is also subject to Argentina’s Law No. 25,326, Law No. 26,032, and regulations issued by the AAIP. The service adheres to the principles of the EU GDPR and the OECD Privacy Guidelines. Any dispute shall be resolved before the competent courts of the State of New Mexico, USA, without prejudice to the application of Argentine public-order rules on data protection.
